December 2025 Community Recreation Center Update

The construction crews continue to make significant progress on the Community Recreation Center (CRC). Below are some exciting updates from the past month:

• Interior wall framing and drywall installation are complete.
• Painting has begun in several areas!
• Installation of exterior windows is underway.
• The pool deck beneath the slab has been poured, and each pool has been formed.

The City's Art in Public Places program supports public art in our community by including it in select City construction and improvement projects. For the CRC, 1% of the project budget is designated to fund artwork that will be publicly visible and accessible throughout the facility. Planned art features in the CRC include:

• Artistic lighting in the natatorium and at the front desk.
• Acoustical sound clouds and river-themed flooring in the Kids Club.
• A vinyl-applied graphic and tile mosaic in the natatorium.
