November 2025 Community Recreation Center Update

The City of Grand Junction City Council has approved the addition of outdoor amenities at the Community Recreation Center (CRC), thanks to generous grantors and donors. The outdoor amenities will feature:

• Synthetic turf field lined for soccer and lacrosse
• Spectator seating at the synthetic turf field
• Burkey Pavilion and event lawn space, adjacent to the CRC’s community rooms
• Additional parking spaces
• Synthetic fitness turf adjacent to group fitness rooms
