🎉 Congratulations to Rural Homes & Paradox Community Trust! 🎉

We are thrilled to celebrate Rural Homes, which operates under Rural Homes LLC with Paradox Community Trust as its sole member, for being awarded $5.2 million through the Affordable Housing Opportunities Program (AHOP) as one of the Homeownership Scattered Sites Grantees! This major investment will support the creation of 65 new homeownership opportunities across Mesa, Routt, Boulder, and Gunnison counties—a tremendous step forward in expanding attainable homeownership in Colorado’s rural communities.

Here in Grand Junction, we are especially excited that this award will help advance 48 new homes at The Salt Flats by providing a lower interest rate for local families and supplying the critical gap funding needed to bridge the difference between the home’s value and the mortgage amount buyers can afford.

This is a significant milestone for Rural Homes, Paradox Community Trust, and all the partners working to bring high-quality, energy-efficient, and community-focused homeownership opportunities to families across Western Colorado.
